Mission Statement

Sonic Blue Arts & Education creates, supports, and inspires artists, students, and communities through the arts. Working across music, theater, dance, and film, Sonic Blue supports creative projects, performances, residencies, and artists through collaboration and funding.

Upcoming Activities

Founded by composer and percussionist Michael C. Wimberly, our dynamic 2026 season features collaborations with New York's Ensemble Studio Theatre, a Martha Graham Dance Company residency at Bennington College, sponsorship of the Leslie Parker Dance Project, and support for the Bridgette A. Wimberly Memorial Writer’s Fund and the Greenhouse Creators Consortium Festival.
